Lex Fridman made an intriguing comparison between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy while talking to Joe Rogan.
Over the past few years, Russia and Ukraine have been engaged in a war featuring thousands of casualties. The battle, along with the country's leaders, has received heavy criticism from American citizens due to the United States sending billions of dollars to support Ukraine.
Earlier this week, Joe Rogan released episode #2260 of the 'Joe Rogan Experience' featuring Lex Fridman, a computer scientist and popular podcast host. Fridman had this to say about Ukraine's leader, Zelenskyy, despite the backlash from people worldwide:
"You never know who the leaders are who step up. A lot of people sort of say that it's trivial that he stayed in Kyiv when the Russian military invaded. To me, it's not trivial at all. I think that's a truly heroic act to stay when nobody knows what's going to happen."

Fridman continued by comparing Zelenskyy staying in Kyiv to Donald Trump's historic moment of standing up during an assassination attempt:
"To stay there like a bad motherf*cker and actually go outside and film yourself speaking to the nation that 'We're going to win this, we're going to hold strong,' that's an insane thing to do. It's a Trump-level insanity. It's similar to me to the Trump standing up when there's still bullets flying and saying, 'Fight, fight, fight'... He really united a nation. The nation was fracturing."

Lex Fridman talks to Joe Rogan about Donald Trump being respected by other world leaders
On January 20, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th U.S. President, officially launching his second term. Trump has already begun fulfilling his many promises, including an attempt to stop the battle between Ukraine and Russia.
During the previously mentioned Joe Rogan podcast, Lex Fridman had this to say about why Trump could be successful in stopping the war:
"There's a real will and a momentum to make peace. There's a respect, there's a fear. Whatever you think about Donald Trump, he is this person that world leaders respect in the full meaning of the word respect. Not like admire but fear. I think both Zelenskyy and Putin fear Donald Trump. That's a great person to then make peace because he has the leverage." [20:50-21:20]
Fridman followed up by saying:
"All of them believe, Putin and Zelensky, that Trump can do some crazy sh*t. This is the time. If you don't make peace now, what's going to happen is the funding from the U.S. and the support from the U.S. is going to dwindle gradually. Putin is willing and able to just wait and to let the war continue for months and for years. Meanwhile, people are dying every single day, thousands of people." [21:21-22:03]
Before the latest U.S. election day, Joe Rogan announced his endorsement of Donald Trump. Rogan was influenced by many factors, including Trump's promises to regain respect for the United States. Trump now looks to fulfill his goals over the next four years.
