The clip began with highlights of positive moments in Tanner's life, however, it then became emotional as the episode contributors recalled his final MySpace post prior to his death:
"In September 2008, Tanner wrote on his MySpace, 'I plan on going so deep into the desert, that any failure of my equipment could cost me my life'. This concerned fans and followers alike, and three days later, [Tanner] was found deceased in the Sonoran Desert, near Palo Verde, California."

When did Evan Tanner win the UFC middleweight championship?
Evan Tanner had several notable wins throughout his legendary career and reached the pinnacle of the sport in 2005 when he won the UFC middleweight championship.
Tanner fought elite-level BJJ practitioner David Terrell at UFC 51, which was quite an entertaining bout. Terrell wasn't as experienced in terms of the number of bouts, but was a formidable opponent as he came into the fight following an impressive first-round knockout over Matt Lindland.
Despite securing favorable positions in their grappling exchanges, the Texan turned the tables on Terrell and finished him via ground-and-pound to earn a first-round TKO and win the vacant middleweight championship.
