VICE TV recently set the stage for what MMA fans can expect this week as they unveiled the first look at Diego Sanchez's 'Dark Side of the Cage' episode. The series debuted last Wednesday with their Kimbo Slice episode and received positive reviews from the MMA community.
The upcoming episode is scheduled to air this coming Wednesday at 10 pm ET and will see the former 'TUF' winner open up about his legendary career and focus on his controversial relationship with Joshua Fabia.
Sanchez shares his experience and describes the bizarre training methods that surfaced online such as Fabia punching and kicking him while he was hanging upside down and then chasing fighters around the cage while holding a knife.

It was a costly relationship for Sanchez as it notably resulted in his UFC departure and halted plans for his final sendoff bout against Donald Cerrone.

Diego Sanchez severed ties with Joshua Fabia in 2021 and described the severity and potential risks if he had continued the relationship.
During the aforementioned video, Sanchez opened up about his decision to finally cut Fabia out of his life due to the effect it had on his reputation and personal life. The former 'TUF' winner mentioned that it was truly a life-or-death situation and feared that one of them would be killed:
"This guy was going to kill me or I was going to have to kill him."
