Victoria Lee was incredibly proud of the performance of her older brother Christian Lee in his last outing.
Reclaiming the ONE lightweight world championship in August, ‘The Warrior’ faced a quick turnaround to challenge former welterweight titleholder Kiamrian Abbasov. Facing some early adversity against a bigger and stronger opponent, Christian Lee was able to defy the odds and scored a fourth-round knockout to capture the welterweight crown and become a two-division world champion.
Making her own return to the circle in the new year, Victoria Lee drew inspiration from her big brother’s performance. In an interview with ONE Championship, ‘The Prodigy said:
“I think that performance is just the true definition of what a champion is. He was able to showcase his skills so perfectly and overcome the adversity and really show why he’s the double-champ.”

Victoria Lee will be back inside the circle for the first time in more than a year to take on Indian standout Zeba ‘Fighting Queen’ Bano. Lee has earned three straight victories under the ONE banner, all before graduating high school. Now a high school graduate, Lee is ready to resume her mixed martial arts career at ONE on Prime Video 6.
Victoria Lee’s opponent Zeba Bano chose her own path in life
Zeba ‘Fighting Queen’ Bano will look to defy the odds when she steps into the Circle for the second time to take on 18-year-old prodigy Victoria Lee on January 13th. For Bano, this isn’t the first time she’s had to defy the odds.
Determined to forge her own path as a child, Bano was drawn to combat sports, but growing up in a conservative family and community, many of her family members did not support her interest in MMA, particularly because of the athletic attire that accompanies being a mixed martial artist. In an interview with ONE Championship, Bano said:
“I wanted to pursue sports since my childhood, and that’s why I took it forward. I always wanted to do something different in life. When I was in school, martial arts was not popular, and I didn’t have much knowledge about it. But after seeing it for the first time, I took interest in it and decided to join Wushu.”
Bano continued:
“Some members of my family have told me several times that if my limbs get broken, I will be of no use, and then who would marry me. I used to get really angry with that, but it used to motivate me too, and it helped me to reach where I am today.”
