Jon Jones recently shared an update on his current weight ahead of the Stipe Miocic matchup at UFC 309. Jones said that even though he weighs a lot, he feels quite light.
In his latest social media post, Jones shared clips of him performing weight-training exercises, which included bench press, weighted pull-up, single-arm dumbbell row, and sled push. In his caption, 'Bones' revealed that he presently weighs around 240 pounds but feels like a light heavyweight.
''240 pounds, fast and strong. I used to walk around at 235lbs as a light heavyweight. This almost feels like a light heavyweight fight without the weight cut. @mr_nfp @jjstanbro''

Following a long absence from fighting, Jones made his highly anticipated return to the octagon last year in a heavyweight contest against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. The two-division champion made short work of his opponent as he submitted Gane in the opening round. Following his win, he called out Miocic, who was present in the audience.
Jones was then scheduled to make his first heavyweight title defense against Miocic at UFC 295 last November. However, a pectoral muscle injury sustained while training prevented 'Bones' from competing on the card.
His absence led to an interim title fight between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich. Aspinall demanded a title unification bout with Jones after defeating Pavlovich by first-round knockout, but Jones refused to listen to the Brit's repeated callouts since he was determined to take on Miocic.
Now recovered, Jones is set to meet Miocic inside the octagon at UFC 309, which will take place on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. As for Miocic, he will seek to reclaim his belt, which he lost to Francis Ngannou at UFC 260 after being knocked out in the second round.
Tom Aspinall predicts Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic clash at UFC 309
As the interim champion and possibly fighting for the undisputed title next year, Tom Aspinall will be eagerly watching the heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
In a recent interview with SafestCasinoSites.co.uk., Aspinall gave his take on the Jones vs. Miocic matchup. The Brit sided with the former champion to knockout Jones, saying:
''I'd be looking for the knockout against Jon Jones is what I'd be looking for with him...I think that Stipe Miocic has got big knockout power in comparison to Jon Jones. So I think he can knock him out.”
