Sydney Thomas, the viral ring girl from the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, continues her ascension to major success. The latest development in her career has seen her sign with Creative Arts Agency, LLC (CAA), a talent and sports agency valued at $7 billion after Groupe Artémis S.A. became its new majority owner.
CAA is well-known for its high-profile Hollywood clientele, including film stars like Margot Robbie, Zendaya, and Tom Hanks. The agency was also previously associated with other Hollywood A-listers, Chris Pratt and Will Ferrell. As far as Thomas is concerned, it isn't exactly clear what her next step is.
However, after she broke the news of her signing with CAA on TikTok, which numerous outlets subsequently reported, it is likely that her next career move involves show business.

While this will only elevate Thomas' already growing public profile since Paul's victory over Tyson, the superstar ring girl is also associating herself with a talent agency that's courted controversy. Various reports have alleged that CAA engaged in coverups for disgraced former film producer Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein has been embroiled in sexual assault allegations dating back years, which has resulted in criminal convictions for which he is serving a 16-year sentence. CAA was also involved in a more recent controversy when Maha Dakhil resigned from the company's internal board.
The parting ways are alleged to have been due to Dakhil making anti-Israel statements that clashed with CAA's reported pro-Israel stance.
Sydney Thomas recently addressed fan speculation about Mike Tyson slapping Jake Paul
Ahead of Jake Paul's boxing match with Mike Tyson, the two took part in a weigh-in face-off, during which the heavyweight boxing legend slapped Paul. Unfortunately, due to the lack of reaction from Sydney Thomas and the other ring girls present, many accused the slap of being staged.
Thomas, though, was quick to clarify why she didn't react, saying the following in an interview with Fox News Digital:
"I was so shocked that it happened. I was not expecting that at all. But our jobs as event models is to stand there and smile. We're not really supposed to react. You're not supposed to change what you're doing. You're supposed to be in the background of all pictures and not have these big reactions."
While Thomas adheres to this strict professionalism, that hasn't stopped other ring girls from reacting to scenes on stage in the past.
