Francis Ngannou calls for rematch with Tyson Fury
Francis Ngannou might have been in attendance for Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 for more than one reason.
In October 2023, Ngannou made history by knocking down and nearly defeating Fury in a ten-round boxing match. Despite losing by a split decision, many people believe the former UFC heavyweight champion deserved the win.
During an interview with 'Seconds Out,' Ngannou had this to say about wanting to fight Fury in a rematch:
"I’m not coming back because I never left – I’m still around. What I do know for sure is that I want a rematch with Fury." [0:45]
At 36 years old, Tyson Fury is coming off back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk. Hence, a second fight against Francis Ngannou might not be out of the question for 2025.
