Joe Rogan has been known to weigh in on a wide-ranging variety of issues on his hit podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. He recently hosted guests Rick Perry and W. Bryan Hubbard on episode #2251 of JRE, where the latter discussed his experience with psychedelic treatment for mental health reasons.
Hubbard, the executive director for the American Ibogaine Initiative, shared his experience, stating:
"The greatest attribute that ibogaine has is its ability to affirm the reality of our human divinity... My wife and I traveled to Tijuana a year ago. She had been on Celexa for 21 years to manage symptoms of a profound mood disorder, which manifested through psychotic mood swings that have affected her since the birth of her son. If I was going to be an advocate for this, I thought that it was necessary to take my own medicine. If I'm going to get out here and advocate for it, I need to be brave enough to man up and to receive it."
Hubbard continued:

"I traveled down to Tijuana - along with my wife - to receive Ibogaine to understand what it would do. My wife decided that she wished to receive it, as well. She is very much a left brain rationalist and was not someone who came to the realm of physchedelics with any degree of enthusiasm, but she wanted to see if there was the potential that she could be freed of her necessity to take Celexa everyday."

Hubbard added that his wife could not take her Celexa for five days before taking ibogaine and had to take a supplement to keep her stable during that period. He noted that his wife has not taken Celexa in over a year since taking ibogaine.
Joe Rogan shares Theo Von story, claiming he lives in another dimension
Joe Rogan recently hosted guest Michael Waddell on episode #2248 of JRE. The hunter and television personality shared a story of taking comedian Theo Von hunting.
This led the host to chime in, stating:
"Bro, he lives in another dimension. Theo lives in a neighboring dimension and he just comes and visits us. Theo and I went to the UFC two weekends ago. We were in Vegas and then after the fights, we went to dinner and I swear to God, the dinner, it was an hour and a half of me and Theo crying laughing."
Check out Joe Rogan and Michael Waddell's full conversation about Theo Von below (55:43):
Rogan added that Von was saying the most ridiculous things, labeling him as a very fun person to be around. Waddell agreed with the assessment, saying that he had a great time around the comedian.
