A UFC light heavyweight fighter who is slowly coming up the ranks is making his way back from injury.
In his last fight, Aleksandar Rakic injured his knee. The doctor stopped the fight because of the injury, handing him just the second loss of his UFC career. However, Rakic believes his time is coming as he gets ready to fight in the Octagon again.
The Austrian fighter put out a statement on Twitter in which he warned the entire division of what was coming when he returns:
"None of these guys really want that belt. Just wait until I am back to take over."

The former champion of the division, Jiri Prochazka, vacated his belt due to injury. Now Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill will battle it out for the vacant title. Before Aleksandar Rakic fulfills his promise of becoming a champion, he has a long way to go.
In his last fight, he took on the #4 ranked light heavyweight but lost to him because of the aforementioned injury. He will look to secure a rematch against Jan Blachowicz.
If he manages to beat the former champ, he will possibly set himself up for a title fight in the future. For now, he will have to focus solely on recovery and getting back into the octagon as fast as he can.
