Fights fans are in awe of Martin Nguyen's high IQ after rewatching him finish his opponent with a picturesque flying knee at ONE: Roots of Honor.
The former two-division world titleholder is a dominant force to be reckoned with and his MMA capabilities early on in his career at ONE Championship were just unmatched.
Before Nguyen returns to action sometime this year, we remember the fear he invoked as a featherweight superstar, against Mongolian rising star Narantungalag Jadambaa back in 2019.
ONE Championship described the 'walk-off' stoppage on Instagram with the caption:

"The Situ-Asian" ended it with a bang. Who's next in line for Martin Nguyen?"
Here's how the fans responded:
"The reason why I do everything" - Featherweight superstar Martin Nguyen describes his motivating drive to continue fighting in ONE Championship
34-year-old Martin Nguyen continues to fight for a top-ranking spot in the stacked featherweight division.
As the years continue to pass, the fans have seen a boom in MMA talent on the roster. Names like Tang Kai, Garry Tonon, Akbar Abdullaev, and Thanh Le, are among some of the dangerous fighters in the weight class.
Nguyen, for his part, has been clawing his way back to a world title picture since he lost both the featherweight and lightweight belts in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
And with a bad loss to Garry Tonon in January, Nguyen feels like his time on the ONE roster might be limited. So, instead of drawing out the white flag, Nguyen reminds himself every day why he shows up for work every day.
Thinking about his family, he told ONE:
"They're always my why. They're always my why, regardless of being in camp or without camp or whatever. They're always the reason why I do everything."
