"Was he mentally ill?" - Joe Rogan reacts as Tim Dillon shares significant update on suspected CEO killer Luigi Mangione, talks potential conviction

On episode #422 of The Tim Dillon Show, Joe Rogan and his host spoke about Luigi Mangione, who is suspected of murdering former United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. During the pair's conversation, the possibility of mental illness being a culprit in Mangione's alleged actions was brought up.

Rogan, who seemed more than convinced of Mangione's guilt in Thompson's murder, was asked by Dillon if he believed Mangione would get a conviction, as many expect him to. Rogan did not mince his words in his response, saying the following:

"It's pretty obvious that he shot him, if that's the guy. I mean, there's video of him doing it. Was he denied a claim or was someone near him denied a claim?"

Regarding some of Rogan's questions, Dillon touched on Mangione's back issues. However, he clarified that United Healthcare was never Mangione's healthcare provider but merely the largest in the United States and known for denying the most claims.

For this reason, Dillon speculates that the murder may have been symbolic. Yet, this drew another question from the longtime UFC commentator.

"Was he mentally ill? Well, obviously. To be able to do that you have to be, at least, at some level mentally ill."

Rogan remained fairly neutral throughout the pair's conversation about the topic, which also covered the level of fanfare Mangione has seen from the American population, many of whom are now hailing the suspected murderer as a folk hero rebelling against a corrupt industry.
