Tawanchai PK Saenchai’s debut in ONE Championship remains one of the most dissected bouts by fans and analysts alike.
His arrival on the global stage at ONE: Dangal in May 2021 was nothing short of spectacular, as the Thai superstar delivered a show-stopping knockout against Sean Clancy.
The world’s largest martial arts organization recently released a detailed breakdown of Tawanchai’s highlight-reel finish, which can be viewed below:

From the opening bell, Tawanchai showcased his trademark precision and power, punishing Clancy with a barrage of strikes. Midway through the first round, he connected with a crisp right uppercut-left straight combination, sending the Irishman to the canvas for an eight-count.
The onslaught continued in the following frames, with Clancy displaying unwavering grit despite the relentless pressure. However, his resilience had its limits.
Just 35 seconds into the third round, Tawanchai sealed the deal with a devastating left high kick, landing flush on Clancy’s chin and putting the former WBC Muay Thai world champion out cold.
Since that emphatic victory, Tawanchai has gone on to win eight of his next nine fights, capturing the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title against Petchmorakot Petchyindee in September 2022.
Tawanchai runs it back with Superbon at ONE 170
Now, Tawanchai PK Saenchai is booked for his 11th promotional appearance, headlining ONE 170 on Friday, January 24, at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he will put his gold-plated belt on the line against featherweight kickboxing king Superbon in a much-anticipated rematch.
The two first clashed at ONE Friday Fights 46 in December 2023, with Tawanchai walking away with a majority decision. This time, the Thai spitfire aims to author a more definitive victory — one reminiscent of his dominant performance against Sean Clancy — as he looks to settle the score with his compatriot once and for all.
