Gordon Ryan is widely considered one of the best No-Gi grapplers and jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world. Fans know the multiple-time ADCC champ for his dominance and unparalleled technique in the sport. In a video uploaded by Hafthor Bjornsson on YouTube, Gordon is seen grappling with the 'Game Of Thrones' star. Bjornsson titled the video:
"Got humbled quite badly by Jiu jitsu champion Gordon Ryan"
The pair has almost a 50kg weight difference, but the jiu-jitsu practitioner maneuvered the actor and former strongman with ease. Gordon Ryan started off at the bottom position and controlled Bjornsson's wrist to disrupt his stability. He then wrapped his legs around the Iceland native and got on his back. Ryan got 'The Mountain' to stand and then took him down again with ease.

After a few minutes of grappling, Ryan was on top of Bjornsson, who had nowhere to go. Toward the end of the video, the Icelander can be heard saying:
"Okay I'm done."
Ryan got off the 6'9" former strongman who was gasping for breath as the spectators around them started laughing. Ryan is currently preparing for his MMA debut on UFC Fight Pass where he will face Nicky Rod.

Gordon Ryan will face Nicky Rod instead of Vinny Magalhaes on UFC Fight Pass
Gordon Ryan was looking to avenge his sole loss in the last four years when he fights at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational: 3. The New Jersey native was set to take on veteran Vinny Magalhaes. The last time the pair stepped on the mat was back in 2018 and the Brazilian ended up winning. However, Magalhaes has pulled out of the fight for reasons unknown and has been replaced by Nicky Rod.
Nicky Rod and Ryan are former Danaher Death Squad (DDS) teammates and will face each other for the second time. Rod replaced Magalhaes on short notice for another shot at his former teammate. Ryan has gone 52-0-2 since his last loss and has defeated Rousimar Palhares, Bo Nickal, Aleksei Oleinik, and Josh Barnett, among others.
On December 15, Ryan will take on Rod at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
