At 34, Adriano Moraes still believes he has a lot of fights left in him
With his insane athletic shape and years of experience in the cage, Adriano Moraes looks like he's in his early 20s despite being 34 years old. The ONE flyweight top contender will be making his 16th appearance in ONE Championship at ONE Fight Night 10 in a trilogy bout with Demetrious Johnson.
Despite his lengthy career so far, 'Mikinho' believes he still has a lot of fight left in him. The Brazilian MMA standout has been competing as a pro since 2011, and yet, he still sees himself as a young fighter with a long road ahead of him.
In an interview with SCMP MMA, Moraes spoke about how he's feeling at this stage of his life and career:
"Everybody is getting old. I think of my age today, I’m 34. I think everybody is going to start to think, ‘What’s the next chapter in my life?’ I’m still feeling so young."
'Mikinho' added:
"Let’s focus on this fight and the next one. So let’s see, I think I have more things to do inside the ONE Circle."
For now, Adriano Moraes is entirely focused on getting his world title back from the legendary Demetrious Johnson at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
