ONE Championship posted a throwback highlight of Alyse Anderson dropping Itsuki Hirata.
In September 2021, Anderson made her ONE Championship debut with a pro-MMA record of 5-1. ‘Lil Savage’ was matched up against Hirata, who was 4-0 at the time, in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix quarterfinals.
After spending most of the first two rounds on her back, Anderson came out firing in the final round. ‘Lil Savage’ threw a big overhand right, dropping Hirata instantly. ONE posted the highlight on Instagram with the caption:
“Alyse Anderson packs a PUNCH 👊 The American MMA star takes on Stamp Fairtex on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video! 🔥 @alyseanderson21”

Hirata managed to recover and defeated Anderson by a unanimous decision. ‘Lil Savage’ didn't fight again until May 2022, winning her first fight under the ONE banner against Asha Roka with a first-round submission.
Anderson now has a massive opportunity at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The 28-year-old American is scheduled to fight the number-one ranked atomweight Stamp Fairtex. Although ‘Lil Savage’ is the underdog, she’s shown that her vicious power can quickly change the trajectory of a fight.

What’s at stake between Alyse Anderson and Stamp Fairtex?
Stamp Fairtex is coming off a unanimous decision win against Jihin Radzuan in September 2022. Before beating Radzuan, Stamp lost to Angela Lee in a match for the ONE women’s atomweight world championship. With Lee respectfully taking a leave of absence, there is time for the Fairtex fighter to solidify her place at another opportunity for the world title.
Meanwhile, Alyse Anderson could shake up the entire division by defeating Stamp at ONE Fight Night 10. If ‘Lil Savage’ can emerge victorious, she will likely be ranked in the top five and one win away from a title shot. It should also be noted that number two-ranked Ham Seo Hee vs. Itsuki Hirata goes down on March 24 with potential world title implications.
Anderson vs. Stamp goes down on May 5 at ONE Championship’s on-ground U.S. debut. The atomweight showdown joins the ONE Fight Night 10 fight card, headlined by Demetrious Johnson vs. Adriano Moraes 3 for the flyweight world championship. The event can be seen on Amazon Prime Video for all North American Prime subscribers.
