The Fairtex Training Center was supposed to have her first defense of the women's atomweight MMA crown in the main event of ONE 167 on June 7 against longtime friend Denice Zamboanga, the second-ranked fighter in the division.

However, Stamp suffered the injury during training camp about two weeks prior to the event and she tearfully apologized to the fans for being unable to step inside the Circle.

As for 'The Menace', she still fought at ONE 167 where she turned in a solid unanimous decision performance over Noelle Grandjean for her third-straight victory.

Stamp shares in fans' optimism for her rehab progress

Every pro athlete's greatest fear is sustaining an injury that will severely limit their career, but the 26-year-old is always looking at the brighter side of things.

On her own Instagram page, Stamp gave fans an extended look into her commitment to returning to peak physical condition.

She wrote the following in the caption:

"5 weeks after surgery Now I just started cycling. Thank you @rehab_performance_pattaya @felix_pts @ratcha_pots for your care and support. Little by little I'm starting to feel more confident and I hope I can get back to doing everything normally soon."
