The injury occurred during one of her final sparring sessions ahead of her planned defense of the ONE women's atomweight MMA world championship against Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 in June.
As a result, Stamp was forced to withdraw. Zamboanga faced Noelle Grandjean instead on the aforementioned card, where she won by unanimous decision to maintain her pole position in the race for divisional gold.
Since then, Stamp has focused on her rehabilitation and the therapy of her surgically repaired knee.
Although no specific timeline has been set for her return, her recent training progress indicates that she could be ready for a comeback sometime in 2025.
Stamp Fairtex to monitor Denice Zamboanga vs. Alyona Rassohyna
Despite her ongoing road to recovery, Stamp Fairtex will be keeping a close eye on a key matchup in her weight class early next year.
Denice Zamboanga is set to take on Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world championship in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 27, emanating live in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 10.
The winner of that bout will go on to face Stamp in a world title unification bout, provided that she is cleared by her doctors to compete in 2025.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be available live and free to Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
