ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex is doing well after suffering a harrowing knee injury earlier this year. The world's largest martial arts promotion updated fans on her progress via an Instagram video.
Three months removed from her surgery this past May, the first-ever three-sport ONE world champion's left knee looks to have healed considerably. In the clip, she can be seen going through her shadowboxing routine while putting weight on her lead leg.

Stamp was poised to defend the women's atomweight MMA crown at ONE 167 last June 7 against longtime friend Denice Zamboanga, who earned her shot at 26 pounds of gold with strong back-to-back decision wins over Lin Heqin and Julie Mezabarba.
About two weeks before the world title tilt, the Fairtex Training Center product tore the meniscus in her left knee during training camp, which left her unable to compete.
'The Menace,' ranked second in the women's atomweight MMA division, still fought at ONE 167 and produced an all-around masterclass against French-Thai star Noelle Grandjean for the unanimous decision win.
The two are expected to face each other when Fairtex returns to competition.
Stamp opens up on her mental health struggles on road to recovery
Pro athletes who have suffered similar major injuries to Stamp's have mentioned that the most challenging part of their journey to returning to peak condition is the mental aspect of it all. Stamp felt the same way at one point.
Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA, the 26-year-old Thai star said:
"The pain is one thing, what weighs on me more is my worry. I was so scared I wouldn't be able to come back. My mental health wasn't in the best place. I was also scared that what if it happens again during training and I won't make it anymore as a fighter?"
