‘The Burmese Python’ Aung La N Sang recently made easy work of a food challenge in a restaurant in Bangkok.

Never one to back away from a challenge, Aung La posted an entertaining video of himself on Instagram gulping down a massive double burger in less than 15 minutes. He shared his video with the caption:

“My wife and I went to a cafe by my house and they had a food challenge. I’m always down for a challenge! ... A man’s strength can be measured by his appetites. Indeed, a man’s strength flows from his appetites.”

Aung La’s fans promptly responded to his video with the following funny reactions:

Freshly bruised, the 37-year-old MMA icon is enjoying some time with his family after a long and tough training camp. He returned to action earlier this month at ONE Fight NIght 6 on Prime Video, squaring off with ‘Giba’ Gilberto Galvao in a catchweight bout.

His opponent, Galvao, tried to use his bulky figure to try and bully Aung La to the ground. However, Aung La wouldn’t have it. After landing a couple of good elbows and strikes from the clinch, ‘The Burmese Python’ would eventually score the 12th finish of his ONE Championship career in less than two minutes of the opening round.

Aung La N Sang says he’s in a “conquering mindset” as he makes journey back into a world title picture

Aung La N Sang believes he’s got just one more goal to accomplish. The former two-division world champion once held both the ONE light heavyweight and middleweight world titles before he crossed paths with ‘The Dutch Knight’ Reinier de Ridder.

Planning a quick turnaround, Aung La hopes the next fight will bring him that much closer to middleweight gold. Speaking at the ONE FIght Night 6 post-fight interviews, Aung La N Sang said:

“It’s one of those things, you know, when you’re defending it’s a different mindset, when you’re conquering it’s a different mindset - I feel like I’m in that conquering mindset right now. I want to conquer back my world title. I think that will be the big achievement.”
