Ayaka Miura is relentless in her pursuit of finishing fights via submission. In a previous bout, her opponent had their fingers in her eyes and she still completed the brutal submission finish to win the match.

'Zombie' Ayaka Miura is an esteemed Judo black belt who has won all of her matches in ONE Championship by way of a submission finish. Against US-born Danielle Kelly, Miura will be determined to finish the match with a tap out.

Specifically, Miura will be looking to win this match with her signature 'Miura Lock' submission. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, she confirmed:

'Zombie' spoke to ONE Championship and explained the 'Miura Lock' by saying:

"A technique that uses judo holds to control the opponent’s shoulders and bend their elbows in the opposite direction. Since the joint is fixed and bent in the opposite direction, you can’t escape from the pain, you have to tap."

American grappling ace Danielle Kelly will be seeking a submission finish as well in this highly anticipated showdown. Kelly is a well-respected Brazilian jiu-jitsu star who has notable wins over combatants such as Roxanne Modafferi, Cynthia Calvillo, and former UFC world champion Carla Esparza, among others.
