French Muay Thai fighter Bampara Kouyate had himself a firefight against American rising star Luke Lessei in his last match that had him digging deep before securing a third-round TKO victory.
The two towering warriors dueled in a competitively fought showdown at ONE Fight Night 23 back in July in Bangkok, where they went guns blazing and all out that had them inflicting significant damage to one another.
In the end, though, it was the Team Mehdi Zatout representative who had more left in the tank, stopping his bloodied opponent midway into the third and final round.
ONE Championship relived the explosive match in an Instagram post in line with Bampara Kouyate's return to action in January.

The win was the first for Kouyate in the promotion after he lost in his ONE debut in October last year.
He is set to make his return to action at ONE 170 on Jan. 24, taking on veteran Thai fighter Jo Nattawut in a featherweight Muay Thai clash. It is part of the event happening at the Impact Arena in Bangkok and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Jo Nattawut-Bampara Kouyate clash part of stacked ONE 170 card
The featherweight Muay Thai battle between Jo Nattawut and Bampara Kouyate is one of the marquee showdowns included in what is shaping up to be a stacked card for ONE 170 on Jan. 24 in Bangkok.
The event has so far three confirmed world title fights, led by the title rematch between reigning featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai and challenger and interim featheweight kickboxing king Superbon.
Also on offer is the bantmweight Muay Thai championship match featuring defending champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 against Scottish challenger Nico Carrillo as well as the bantamweight MMA title showdown between reigning divisional king Fabricio Andrade and South Korean opponent Kwon Won II.
Others stars billed to see action at ONE 170 are young guns Johan Ghazali (Malaysia), Johan Estupinan (Colombia) and Thant Zin (Myanmar).
ONE 170 is one of two main shows in January for the promotion to kick off what it is angling to be a solid year in 2025.
