Liam Harrison explained how to land a body kick when an opponent leans back.
Over the last 25 years, Harrison has utilized his training in combat sports to establish legendary kickboxing and Muay Thai resumes, securing several world titles. When he's not focusing on his fighting career, 'Hitman' teaches seminars and records training videos for online viewers.
Harrison recently posted a video on Instagram of him breaking down how to land a body kick. The 38-year-old had this to say while demonstrating his techniques:
"If someone is leaning back a lot, a nice way you can land the body kick from there. So, the first one I'm going to throw and I'm going to lean back. If this is happening, you want to push your hip forward, so as Dan goes to lean back and then I can still kick."

Harrison concluded by saying:
"The way he's leaning back if my kick lands is probably going to knock him off balance and look like it's having a lot more effect and it's going to score more high. The first time Dan leans back, up. The second time I know this is going to happen, so I'm just gonna push my hips forward and then I'm gonna kick a little bit lower. Don't forget the liver is there, so even if it just lands in there, it's gonna hurt."

Liam Harrison plans to complete comeback story with win at ONE 168: Denver
In August 2022, Liam Harrison failed to dethrone then-holder Nong-O Hama of the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. To make matters worse, the UK superstar suffered a severe knee injury due to Nong-O's leg kicks, starting an extended layoff that featured several setbacks.
On September 6, Harrison will make his highly-anticipated return at ONE 168: Denver. The 38-year-old is scheduled to face fellow Muay Thai legend Seksan, who holds an 8-1 record under the ONE Championship banner.
With a win against Seksan, Harrison would showcase his warrior spirit once again. It'll be easier said than done for 'Hitman', as 'The Man Who Yields To No One' may have a few tricks up his sleeve before hanging up the gloves.
ONE 168 will take place inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. Tickets for the upcoming event featuring two world title fights can be found on Ticketmaster.
