ONE Championship posted footage of Liam Harrison training ahead of his legacy matchup against Seksan.

In August 2022, Harrison challenged Nong-O for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title. 'Hitman' was unable to dethrone the Thai superstar and also suffered a severe knee injury due to Nong-O's vicious leg kicks.

Since then, Harrison has undergone surgery and endured several setbacks, preventing him from fighting again. Luckily, the UK superstar overcame the adversity and plans to return to action when ONE Championship travels to North America for ONE 168: Denver.

'Hitman' repeatedly called for a matchup against fellow legend Seksan. ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong granted Harrison's request, leading to the must-see Muay Thai matchup on September 6.

Heading into ONE 168, Harrison plans to silence the doubters by proving there's plenty of gas left in the tank. According to training footage posted on Instagram, which can be seen below, the 38-year-old looks poised for a comeback win.

ONE 168 will take place inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. Tickets for the highly anticipated event, which will feature Jonathan Haggerty vs. Superlek and Liam Harrison vs. Seksan, can be purchased on Ticketmaster.

Liam Harrison is looking forward to “adding a few more KOs" to his legendary resume

Liam Harrison endured a treacherous recovery process before booking his return at ONE 168: Denver. There were questions about 'Hitman' potentially retiring after fighting Seksan, which no longer seems to be the situation.

Harrison recently posted throwback footage of himself on Instagram and added the following caption about his fighting career:

"Ain’t anyone from the UK who can send you for an early bath with 1 shot like I can. Done it consistently for over 20 years and looking forward to adding a few more KOs to the list before I retire 💣 💣💣💣 #muaythai #knockout #hitman"

As for Seksan, he has a higher chance of retiring at ONE 168: Denver. The 4x Muay Thai world champion holds an 8-1 promotional record, including a loss against Yutaro Asahi last time out. Only time will tell if the 35-year-old can pull off the win and spoil Liam Harrison's return party.
