Double ONE world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is also into football, which he incorporates as part of his regimen as a fighter to stay in shape. He was recently at it and enjoying his time doing warm-up kicks with fellow Thai legend Saenchai.
ONE Championship recently shared a video on its official Instagram profile of 'The Kicking Machine' and Saenchai doing leg kicks as they prepare to hit the football field.

Superlek was preparing to defend the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 170 on Jan. 24 in Thailand when he suffered an injury, forcing him to pull out from his showdown against challenger Nico Carrillo of Scotland. It was supposed to be his first defense of the championship belt he seized from erstwhile champion Jonathan Haggerty back in September in the United States by way of first-round knockout.
The contest has since been restructured with Carrillo taking on fellow contender Nabil Anane of Algeria/Thailand for the interim bantamweight Muay Thai world title, with the winner up for a unification fight with Superlek sometime after.
ONE 170 will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok and air live and for free at U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Nico Carrillo has high regard for Superlek
While his showdown with bantamweight Muay Thai king Superlek Kiatmoo9 had to be pushed back, Nico Carrillo maintains a high regard for the Thai superstar for the way he has built up his career.
'The King of the North' spoke about it in an interview with Sky Sports, highlighting how the Kiatmoo9 Gym standout has developed the go-getting mindset and confidence that have made him the success that he is.
Carrillo said:
"He's very active. He's been an elite [Muay Thai fighter] for a long time. He's a fighter. He fights whoever they say. He just goes out and he fights. He's not scared to fight anybody. When you do that so many times, you build a crazy belief in yourself. You know that you're unstoppable and have the confidence to fight."
Superlek is currently out injured but Carrillo is hoping that when the champion is healthy and ready he finally gets the chance against him.
