The heart of a champion was first displayed by Singaporean-American MMA phenom Christian Lee during his ONE lightweight MMA world title match against Japanese legend Shinya Aoki in the main event of ONE: Enter the Dragon inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
ONE Championship republished the remarkable victory of Lee on their Instagram account, and they wrote its caption with:

'The Warrior' found himself in major trouble in the first round when 'Tobikan Judan' pulled off an arm-bar submission that almost took his arm off. But thanks to his resilience and never-say-die mental fortitude, Lee was able to survive that early onslaught.
In the second salvo, Lee went into another gear and punished Aoki with vicious boxing combinations until he crumbled to the corner and forced the referee to step in and call a stoppage for the match.
Christian Lee reveals that he didn't stop sharpening his MMA skills even during his lengthy sabbatical from action
The 26-year-old MMA superstar is scheduled to defend his ONE lightweight MMA world title against undefeated challenger Alibeg Rasulov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Before he makes his grand return to the ring, Lee shared that he hasn't missed a beat in training because, during his hiatus from action, he had been helping his brother in his fight preparation, which kept him sharp.
He stated this during a recent interview with ONE Championship, where he narrated:
"Since I was last in the Circle, I took a lot of time off and then got to spend a lot of time at home with my family. My son was born, so we got to spend a lot of time at home with him and my daughter. That time at home was really great. Also, during that time, I was training my brother a lot. So, basically, we closed the gym down and it was just me and my brother continuing our training."
North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, which goes down inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
