ONE Championship megastar Christian Lee set his sights on becoming a two-division MMA world champion by taking the ONE welterweight MMA world championship just months after reclaiming the lightweight MMA world championship against Ok Rae Yoon.

Kiamrian Abbasov was stripped of the ONE welterweight MMA world championship during the weigh-ins, leaving Lee the only one eligible to win it all.

Lee was rocked multiple times in the early going and looked as if he was heading to certain defeat, but the Singaporean-American star weathered the storm to reach the championship rounds.

Following a great takedown late in round four, Lee finished off 'Brazen' via TKO with just under a minute remaining to officially become a two-division ONE MMA world champion.

Christian Lee has been away from the Circle since defeating Abbasov due to the tragic passing of his sister Victoria Lee in December 2022, though fans last saw him cornering youngest sibling Adrian Lee during his debut this past June at ONE 167 which drummed up excitement for his return.

At ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8, the wait will come to an end as the 26-year-old MMA great will defend his 26 pounds of ONE lightweight MMA gold against Alibeg Rasulov at State Farm Arena.

The Hyperion Fighters representative is coming off a solid promotional debut where he upended the aforementioned Ok by way of unanimous decision earlier this month at ONE Fight Night 23.
