An exciting night of fights took place last Friday, June 7 at ONE 167 where close friends Mikey Musumeci and Rodtang Jitmuangnon were both set to compete in featured bouts against tough opponents.
Respectively reigning as the ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion and flyweight Muay Thai world titlist, 'Darth Rigatoni' and Rodtang have developed a bond that fans have grown to cherish.
But before they took to the Circle for their respective rivalry fights, Musumeci and 'The Iron Man' had a quick, minimal contact sparring in the backstage area which was posted on ONE Championship's Instagram.

Rodtang a ton of criticism from the fans after weighing over the 135-pound flyweight limit ahead of his bout with Puric and stated just how much the win matters to him.
The Jitmuangnon Gym product said in the post-fight interview:
"It's almost a year since I last fought. Since my last fight, I had an injury and I can't really love myself [properly]. I kept this a secret from many people. I missed my weight and a lot of people said harsh things to me. To be back here, I was under a lot of pressure. To fight and have this victory again, I'm very happy. I'm grateful for all of your support."
