Australian fighter Danial Williams chalked up his first-ever victory in ONE Championship in impressive fashion, knocking out Thai legend Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke with a nasty liver shot.

The setting was ONE: Bad Blood in February 2022 in Singapore in a strawweight MMA match that saw 'Mini T' taking control right from the opening bell. He connected on punishing leg kicks and strikes that the veteran Thai fighter simply had limited answers to.

It all came to an end midway into the second round when the Perth native saw an opening to throw a solid right hand to the midsection of Dejdamrong, who instantly folded, dropping to the canvas and unable to proceed after.

Ahead of Danial Williams' return to action this week, ONE Championship posted a video of the impressive liver shot finish on its Instagram account.

The win over Dejdamrong started a three-fight win streak in MMA for Williams, who is one of a very few athletes in ONE Championship competing concurrently in MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Danial Williams touts a slugfest when he collides with Thongpoon at ONE Fight Night 26

Danial Williams is expecting no less than a total slugfest when he and Thai fighter Thongpoon PK Saenchai touch gloves at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Dec. 26 in Thailand in a featured strawweight Muay Thai battle.

In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, 'Mini T' shared his thoughts on his upcoming match, highlighting how their identical aggresive style of fighting should make for an entertaining match.

He said:

"We're both risk-takers. I've seen what he's capable of, I know what I'm capable of, so I'm excited at this point. There's going to be plenty of 50/50 moments. I know it's gonna be a good fight. Obviously, going for the win, but in these 50/50 exchanges, anything can happen. But if we're willing to take risks, it's gonna be excitement for the fans."

Williams enters ONE Fight Night 26 off a much-needed win in his last fight in October, which halted a four-fight skid. Thongpoon, meanwhile, has lost two straight and is seeking to return to the win column.

ONE Fight Night 26 will take place at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
