ONE submission grappling sensation Danielle Kelly will face former world title contender Ayaka 'Zombie' Miura in a submission grappling match at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
The February 24 match will be Kelly's third dance in ONE Championship, while Miura will have her submission grappling debut.
While Miura will be trying her luck at straight grappling for the first time, it won't be completely out of her element. The former ONE women’s strawweight world title contender is a judo black belt who has used her grappling prowess to score some of the most impressive submission wins in her division.

Miura's powerful throws and trademark scarfhold keylock have proven quite unstoppable and will surely be in play once she locks horns with Danielle Kelly.
In a video posted on Kelly's Instagram, the American grappler was seen drilling counter-moves for the judo throw.
Here's the video:
"How’s your Sunday morning? 🙃🙃🙃 @nikki_zannelli giving me throwpuccinos 🥋 (I made that word up)"
Even though we didn't see an actual counter to the throw, it's quite telling how Kelly is familiarizing herself with judo throws more.
Based on her performances in the past, Kelly's game usually involves pulling guard and working off her back right away. It seems she's opening herself to the idea of tangling with Miura inside the clinch and using the momentum of her throws against her.
ONE Fight Night 7 emanates from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on February 24. The entire card is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Danielle Kelly feels more comfortable inside the Circle after second appearance
After her performance bonus-winning second appearance in ONE Championship at ONE on Prime Video 4, Danielle Kelly looks to be gaining momentum towards a potential world title shot.
Her first bout, a draw with Mei Yamaguchi at ONE X that also saw her collect a bonus, was something Kelly admits wasn't her best.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Kelly spoke about her swift submission win over Mariia Molchanova and how it compares to her previous appearance at ONE X:
"It actually felt pretty good. I think the first time, which was back in March, I was a little nervous. So just trying to feel out of the cage and everything. It was like, my first time in an actual cage setting because usually jiu-jitsu matches are like, they reset you if you go off bounds, or you just keep going. But in the cage, you're just very limited. So I kind of had to get used to that."
Now that she's starting to feel more comfortable inside the circle, expect Danielle Kelly to churn out more performance bonuses in the future.
