Re-visit Danielle Kelly's fight-ending rear-naked choke against Mariia Molchanova.
In November 2022, Kelly was matched up against Molchanova for an atomweight submission grappling match at ONE on Prime Video 4. At the time, the American superstar was coming off a draw in her promotional debut Mei Yamaguchi and planned to make a statement by submitting Molchanova, a Sambo specialist.
Molchanova attempted to use her physical strength to counteract Kelly's superior fundamental grappling skills. Unfortunately for the Russian, Kelly secured back control within two minutes and ended the match with a rear-naked choke.
ONE Championship honored Kelly's performance by posting the entire matchup on YouTube, which can be seen below by those who aren't geo-restricted.

Since defeating Mariia Molchanova, Danielle Kelly has made two more appearances under the ONE banner, winning both by unanimous decision. The American superstar started by defeating Ayaka Miura and then took out Jessa Khan to become the inaugural women's atomweight world champion.
Danielle Kelly scheduled for highly-anticipated return to ONE Championship action
Danielle Kelly's latest win against Jessa Khan took place in September 2023 at ONE Fight Night 14. Fans have eagerly waited for the return of the ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion's return, which has officially been announced for next month.
On August 2, Kelly will defend her throne for the first time in the ONE Fight Night 24 co-main event. The 28-year-old's latest challenge is Mayssa Bastos, a world-class Brazilian with a lifetime BJJ record of 115-12 and first-place finishes in IBJJF Worlds No-Gi x3, IBJJF Pans No-Gi x3, IBJJF American Nationals x2, and more.
Bastos made her ONE Championship debut on March 8, defeating Janae Yamada by unanimous decision. She now looks to skyrocket her status by taking out Kelly.
ONE Fight Night 24 goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The upcoming event can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
