Handing Saputra his first loss under the ONE banner was a much-needed return to form for the Lions Nation MMA star, who was coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Kairat Akhmetov at ONE: Winter Warriors II.
Looking to build upon his momentum, Kingad next fought Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE 165 this past January in a rematch of their September 2018 encounter. This time, 'Little Piranha' claimed revenge over the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix runner-up via unanimous decision.
Kingad will look for a bounce-back victory when he faces former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
