Johnson brought the fight to Moraes with relentless close-range combinations, but the Brazilian stood his ground and operated behind precise jabs and powerful counters to dominate the early rounds.
On the ground, Moraes’ size advantage was evident as he controlled the grappling exchanges.
However, ‘Mighty Mouse’ adapted brilliantly in the third and fourth rounds, utilizing sharp footwork and head movement to neutralize Moraes’ attacks while landing crisp boxing combinations.
With just over a minute remaining in the fourth, Johnson capitalized on an opening, delivering a thunderous right hand followed by a spectacular flying knee to end the match in dramatic fashion.
Meanwhile, Rodtang’s electrifying knockout of Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10 in May 2023 also made the reel.
The Thai sensation overwhelmed his opponent with relentless offense, ultimately finishing Tabares in the second round with a perfectly timed elbow to retain his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title.
Equally unforgettable was Superlek’s jaw-dropping victory over Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168 in September 2024.
The Thai megastar needed just 49 seconds to deliver a devastating knockout. As Haggerty launched a straight right, Superlek slipped under the punch and countered with a brutal elbow that sent the British fighter to the canvas.
Despite Haggerty’s valiant effort to recover, he couldn’t beat the referee’s count. This emphatic win further cemented Superlek’s reputation as a two-sport king, holding the ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world titles.
Rodtang set to return to action in March
Fans won’t have to wait long for more fireworks, as Rodtang Jitmuangnon is slated to suit up in action.
‘The Iron Man’ will finally go head-to-head with Takeru Segawa in a five-round flyweight kickboxing super-fight, headlining ONE 172 on March 23 at Japan’s iconic Super Saitama Arena.
