Algerian sniper Elias Mahmoudi is a fierce competitor, but is respectful of both the fight game, as well as his opponents. This attitude of his was on display in his most recent fight against Japanese Taiki Naito, who he knocked out in the third round of their showdown.
The two clashed at ONE Fight Night 24 on Aug. 2 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand in a flyweight kickboxing match. 'The Sniper' was in his explosive self against Naito, throwing everything in his arsenal and finishing the contest in grand fashion with a knockout in the third round with a well-placed spinning backfist.
After a brief celebration with his team, he approached his fallen opponent to check on him and show his respect. ONE Championship shared the classy gesture from Mahmoudi with an Instagram post ahead of his scheduled return to action at ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Dec. 6 in Thailand.

Danial Williams excited for showdown between Denis Puric and Elias Mahmoudi
Thai-Australian fighter Danial Williams is among those excited to see Denis Puric and Elias Mahmoudi trade leather at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 in Thailand.
'Mini T' shared his thoughts on the matchup between 'The Bosnian Menace' and 'The Sniper' in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, describing it as a solid matchup of aggressive fighters. He said:
"Another awesome fight. That's a brilliant matchup. Elias, man, he's hectic. He's a big flyweight too, all-around. And then, yeah, you got Puric. So durable. But won't give up. But one will eventually have to give up to what pressure and style the other brings."
Mahmoudi enters ONE Fight Night 26 a winner of his last two matches, both by knockout, while Puric is out to bounce back after seeing his two-fight ascent halted in his last fight.
