One of those exceptional fights came early in his ONE journey in November 2018 against Russian Alaverdi Ramazanov at ONE: Conquests of Champions in Manila, Philippines.

There the two engaged in a barnbuner of a match, that had them having their bright moments in the three-rounder to the delight of fans. In the end though, it was Saemapetch who emerged victorious by way of unanimous decision.

ONE Championship recently uploaded the explosive clash between Saemapetch and Ramazanov on its official YouTube channel for fans to relive.

Saemapetch now looks to have the same winning outcome in his scheduled return to action on July 5 at ONE Fight Night 23 on Prime Video, where he will go up against on-a-roll Scottish knockout artist Nico Carrillo in a bantamweight Muay Thai battle.

ONE Fight Night 23 will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Superlek sees clash between Carrillo and Saemapetch not going the distance

ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 does not see the upcoming showdown between Nico Carrillo and Saemapetch Fairtex going the distance owing to both fighters' ability to finish matches with their knockout power.

'The Kicking Machine' shared his thoughts on the marquee showdown, part of ONE Fight Night 23 on Prime Video on July 5, in an interview with the South China Morning Posting, saying:

"Nico Carrillo and Saemapetch, it is such an interesting fight. I am really, really looking forward to this one. Saemapeetch has power, also Nico has the same thing. And I fell like it's very high chance that either one of them would get a KO."

Carrillo enters ONE Fight Night 23 with an undefeated ONE record of 3-0 while Saemapetch is coming off a bounce-back win in his last fight in February.
