This past Friday at ONE on Prime Video 4, Rodtang Jitmuangnon put on an electrifying performance for his growing fanbase in the United States.
As many fans know, the flyweight kingpin is one of the rarest Muay Thai strikers on the planet with the ability to take on his opponent’s best power shots without a flinch.
This time against Joseph Lasiri, the Thai superstar never failed to show who’s the true king of Muay Thai.
Inside the Circle, ‘The Iron Man’ bullied his opponent with demorilizing taunts and outrageous antics in order to provoke a passive Lasiri into engaging in a fistfight with him, which had the crowd up in stitches from beginning to end.

“Iron Man ate every single shot Lasiri landed on him - and there were some good ones. I'd be scared too!”
Rodtang disappointed with Joseph Lasiri’s lacklustre performance
With Rodtang having fans roaring with delight, he felt Joseph Lasiri didn’t do his fair share of entertaining the fans. Feeling like it was a one-way endeavor, the Pattaya-bred striker coudn’t stop roasting his counterpart even after the fight was over.
Speaking to Tom Taylor from SCMP MMA in the Prime Video 4 post-fight interview, ‘The Iron Man’ said:
“I expected more from Lasiri because he was running away from me too much. And he wasn’t entertaining for the fans, it was a little bit of a disappointment. As you know, he himself is also a world champion [with] a title, he could’ve done more to make it more entertaining and then come and brawl with me instead of running away.”

'The Iron Man' began the first round without coming on too aggressively. However, the power advantage was obvious from the start.
Rodtang’s kicks and punches had more sting, which prevented Lasiri from going on an all-out striking war with the defending ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion.
To Lasiri’s credit, he stuck to his game plan amidst the taunting and engaged with a few good power shots on the outside to score points on the cards. It was a smart strategy on Lasiri’s part, however, as the divisional king expressed before, being safe doesn’t win you world titles.
