Superbon’s signature headkick has become synonymous with his name, and fans will be eagerly watching when he steps into the main event of ONE 170 this Friday, January 24.

There, the Thai superstar is set to run it back with Tawanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship in front of a sold-out crowd at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Beyond seeking redemption for his December 2023 loss to Tawanchai, Superbon is determined to make a statement — and there’s no better way to do that than by delivering his trademark knockout blow.

The last time he put an opponent to sleep with his devastating left high kick was against Tayfun Ozcan in June 2023.

That fight wasn’t smooth sailing for Superbon. Ozcan’s relentless pressure in the opening round forced him onto the back foot, as the Dutch-Turkish striker unleashed flurries of punches to push the Thai veteran backward.

But Superbon, ever the seasoned tactician, responded by firing off his lightning-fast left body kick and using teeps to keep his opponent at bay.

Ozcan stuck to his aggressive game plan in the second round, pressing forward with punches. However, his eagerness ultimately played into Superbon’s hands.

As Ozcan surged in with another combination, Superbon remained composed, shifting his weight onto his right leg. In a split second, he clobbered a picture-perfect left high kick that connected flush with Ozcan’s chin, instantly knocking him out cold.
