ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai boasts dynamic striking skills, which he enhances by making the most of his crushing teep kicks. He recently shared his secret to this facet of his game so fans can get a firmer grip on what goes into it.
In an Instagram post by ONE Championship, the Thai superstar can be seen doing a tutorial session with veteran broadcast analyst Mitch Chilson on how to uncork an effective teep kick. He highlighted that to get a better effect from the kick, one should throw it sideways and not with toes up to make it harder to catch.

Tawanchai's potent teep kicks will once again be showcased when he defends his world title on Jan. 24 at ONE 170 in a title rematch with fellow Thai superstar Superbon. It will be the headlining contest of the event happening at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is a rematch of their tightly fought first encounter in December last year, in which the reigning champion had to endure the wringer before retaining his world title via majority decision.
ONE 170 will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Sam-A sees a more exciting showdown in Tawanchai-Superbon II
Tawanchai PK Saenchai will take on Superbon in a rematch for the featherweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 170 on Jan. 24. It is a showdown that former ONE champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao looks forward to catching, seeing it to be more exciting than the first encounter between the two.
The former strawweight and flyweight Muay Thai and strawweight kickboxing world champion shared his thoughts on the headlining contest at ONE 170, highlighting how the protagonists are in tremendous fighting shape heading into the contest.
"This is another match I will follow. I think it will be more exciting than the first fight. Because Superbon just won a Muay Thai match against Jo Nattawut, which gives him more confidence in Muay Thai. While Tawanchai is already a good all-around fighter."
At ONE 170, Tawanchai will be defending the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title he seized in September 2022 for the fourth time. Superbon, meanwhile, will try to become a two-sport world champion in addition to the interim featherweight kickboxing gold already in his position.
