Superlek's run through the field of competitors during the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix was nothing short of impressive.

Kicking off in the spring of 2022, the WGP tournament featured some of the biggest names in the flyweight division, including 'The Kicking Machine,' who was paired with the 'Silent Sniper' Taiki Naito in the quarter-final round at ONE 157.

For three rounds, the two striking sensations went toe-to-toe, but in the end, the Thai superstar came out on top and advanced to the semifinals.

Superlek went on to earn a first-round KO in the semifinals over Walter Goncalves ONE on Prime Video 1 before netting a split decision against Panpayak Jitmuangnon in the tournament final at ONE 164 in Manilla.

Since then, 'The Kicking Machine' has claimed ONE Championship gold, winning the ONE flyweight kickboxing crown a month later.

On Friday, September 6, he'll look to become a two-sport champion when he challenges one of the most dangerous fighters on the ONE roster.

Superlek believes he has significantly improved since his first meeting with Jonathan Haggerty

Emanating from Ball Arena in The Mile High City—Denver, Colorado—ONE 168 will feature a can't-miss clash in the art of eight limbs when reigning two-sport titleholder Jonathan Haggerty puts his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship on the line against Superlek.

It will be their first meeting since a 2018 clash that saw 'The Kicking Machine' score a second-round TKO due to a doctor's stoppage.

"I have made huge improvements since the last time he fought me," Superlek told Sportskeeda MMA. "I've been with ONE for a while, and I have grown comfortable with the style and the smaller gloves."

Who leaves The Centennial State with two ONE world titles and a whole lot of bragging rights?
