WATCH: Former strawweight MMA king Jarred Brooks finds a new social media side gig at ONE Fight Night 24 fight week

Former ONE strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks is a man of many talents and he is never afraid to try new things.

As he gets ready to fight Gustavo Balart for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world championship at ONE Fight Night 24 on Friday, August 2, 'The Monkey God' decided to try his hand at being a ONE Championship social media manager.

Though he has a light-hearted personality outside the circle, Brooks is an absolute monster when the bell rings. He proved this in December 2022 by dethroning Joshua Pacio for the ONE strawweight MMA crown, improving his ONE record to 4-0.

Brooks then eyed two-sport supremacy in August 2023 but ultimately fell short at the hands of ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci.

In his most recent outing this past March, the Mash Fight Team star lost the strawweight MMA crown back to Pacio via disqualification after unintentionally spiking the Filipino spitfire's head to the canvas.

Jarred Brooks fully prepared for Gustavo Balart showdown

Jarred Brooks is confident that 'El Gladiador' will not trouble him in their ONE interim strawweight MMA tilt inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

He recently told ONE Championship:

"I'm going to showcase it all. He's been working on a lot of boxing in this camp and he's probably done a little bit of Muay Thai and I know all the boys that he works with. I've been to little Cuba where Alex Caceres and all those boys trained. I'm familiar with their training camps, so I'm not opposed to working on what he's working to defeat him."
