WATCH: Get a cageside view of Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut's heart-pounding back-and-forth exchange at ONE 167

Thai superstars Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Jo Nattawut gave fans two barnburners during their two meetings in October 2023 at ONE Fight Night 15 and June 2024 at ONE 167.

Their rematch last June was a more competitive match for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title. ONE Championship reposted a clip of that match on Instagram with the following caption:

"Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut lit up the stage at ONE 167 😎 Will the Thai striking superstars put on a show when they step into their respective bouts at ONE 170?🔥 @tawanchay_pk @jonattawut"

In the video, Tawanchai and Nattawut exchanged vicious strikes in the middle of the circle before the former marched forward and blitzed the latter with a flurry of strikes.

This initiated an intense clinch battle where 'Smokin' Jo landed more damaging knee strikes against the defending world champion.

Eventually, though, Tawanchai secured the close majority decision nod from the judges to secure another successful world title defense and keep his status as the undisputed king of the weight class.

Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut to compete on the same card on Jan. 24 at ONE 170

Seven months after their incredible match, Tawanchai and Nattawut will compete on the same card on Jan. 24 at ONE 170, which goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

However, they will have different opponents, as Tawanchai welcomes the challenge of Superbon for the second time and puts his 26-pound golden belt on the line.

The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative has previously defeated Superbon, the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion, in their first fight in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46.

On the other hand, Nattawut will face Bampara Kouyate in a featherweight Muay Thai scrap. He hopes to stop the rise of the French phenom to remain relevant in the world championship conversations.
