ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 ascended to double-champ status by taking the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship from Jonathan Haggerty via knockout at ONE 168: Denver last Friday, Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena.
Superlek allowed 'The General' to push the pace of the action, which allowed him to settle into his groove. However, Haggerty's over-aggression caused his downfall as he lunged directly into a well-timed elbow from 'The Kicking Machine' that he could not recover from in time.
Watch all the angles of Superlek's superb knockout of Haggerty below, which ONE posted on Instagram:

Superlek prides himself on doing his homework against all his opponents. It was especially evident with how well he avoided most of Haggerty's big blows leading up to the knockout sequence.
Though he lost the 145-pound Muay Thai crown to the Thai hero, Haggerty still holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship.
ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong awarded Superlek a $50,000 performance bonus for his flash knockout of the 27-year-old British megastar.
