WATCH: Get an up-close view of South Korean monster Kang Ji Won's wall-breaking power against Paul Elliott

Heavyweight MMA contender Kang Ji Won is not shy about letting his hands go, and that's largely due to the incredible power he possesses. With the right strike, he can put just about anyone in the division to sleep.

The world's largest martial arts organization recently posted a clip that validates Kang's ability to throw some heat. In the caption, they wrote:

"THAT POWER 😱 Kang Ji Won is set to go head-to-head with Kirill Grishenko at ONE Fight Night 23 on @primevideo! Who will be the victor? @k_jwwwzzz"

As seen in the video, the 'Mighty Warrior' was swinging for the fences when he fought Paul Elliott in March 2022 at ONE X inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

During the sequence, both landed shots against each other, but the South Korean star appeared to have connected on a solid left hook, which momentarily stunned his British opponent.

It was a preview of the conclusion of the match, as Kang delivered a picture-perfect right hook straight to Elliott's jaw that instantly separated him from consciousness. The referee called a halt to the contest at the 58-second mark of the opening round, giving Kang Ji Won his third victory under the ONE Championship banner.

Kang Ji Won will face Kirill Grishenko at ONE Fight Night 23 on July 5

Following that highlight-reel finish of Elliott, Kang went 1-1 in his next two fights. He was on the receiving end of a third-round submission loss to Ben Tynan in November 2023 at ONE Fight Night 16, but scored a second-round TKO victory over Mikhail Jamal Abdul-Latif in January 2024 at ONE Fight Night 18 to return to winning ways.

Now, the Wang Ho athlete is preparing to face the challenge of Kiriil Grishenko on July 5 at ONE Fight Night 23 inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
