Before Tawanchai PK Saenchai puts his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title at stake in a rematch against Superbon later this month, ONE Championship has revisited the last time the Thai megastar scored a stoppage victory inside the ring.
That moment came during a non-title featherweight kickboxing bout against Davit Kiria at ONE Fight Night 13 in August 2023. There, Tawanchai put on a masterclass, finishing Kiria in the third round with a devastating performance.

Kiria started strong, pressing the action against Tawanchai in the opening round. However, the Thai striker responded with precision, relying on his signature kicks to shift momentum in the second frame.
The third round saw Tawanchai deliver a thunderous kick that fractured Kiria's right arm, securing a technical knockout victory.
Since that electrifying win, his next three bouts have gone the distance, all ending in decisions.
Despite this, the reigning champion still boasts five knockouts in his nine triumphs under the organization’s banner.
In his next outing, Tawanchai is eager to end a 17-month knockout drought when he shares the stage with Superbon again.
The second encounter between the two striking icons for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai World Championship is penciled to headline the much-awaited ONE 170, set for Jan. 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tawanchai aims to beat Superbon decisively in rematch
Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon last squared off at ONE Friday Fights 46 in December 2023, with the former narrowly edging out a majority decision after five grueling rounds.
Interestingly, both competitors will be coming into the bout with their last fight coming against Jo Nattawut. Tawanchai secured a majority decision victory, while Superbon completed a first-round knockout win.
As they prepare to clash again, Tawanchai will be eager to make a statement by finishing his Thai compatriot this time around.
