ONE strawweight Muay Thai contender Jackie Buntan is gearing up for her sixth bout inside the circle, and fans can now see a glimpse of her journey.
The Filipino-American striker will face Australia's Diandra Martin at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video in May. It will be Buntan's first appearance since besting Amber Kitchen by way of unanimous decision last December.
Buntan rose up the rankings and competed for the inaugural ONE strawweight Muay Thai world title against Smilla Sundell in April 2022.
She wrote on her Instagram:

Jackie Buntan wants another match against Smilla Sundell, but focused on ONE Fight Night 10 for now
Jackie Buntan came up short in her first world title bid in April 2022, losing to Sundell by unanimous decision. The 25-year-old rising star is hoping to rematch Sundell in the near future, telling the South China Morning Post:
“I mean it depends on how many fights they want to give me before I’m able to get that rematch, but I want that rematch. It’s not like a one-and-done type of thing for me.”
The striker added:
“I still believe I’m one of the top contenders in this division, so it just kind of depends on whoever they want to give and whoever they sign really.”
Notably, Sundell's win over Buntan made her the youngest person to ever win a world title at just 17 years old.
Buntan is scheduled to compete at ONE's first-ever event to be hosted in the United States, and she'll be focused on making weight this time around after weighing in five pounds over the limit in her previous outing.
