Anatoly Malykhin may be one of the most menacing fighters in the world right now, but the ONE interim heavyweight world champion is also one of the most wholesome characters in the sport.
When he’s not knocking people out, Malykhin is out there making the day of those dear to him and one such man is his coach at Tiger Muay Thai John Hutchinson.
Malykhin and his good friend Petr Yan recently surprised Hutchinson with a new truck and the two fighters’ gift-giving was posted on the heavyweight star’s Instagram account.

Anatoly Malykhin, who went to the local Ford dealership near Tiger Muay Thai, said in his Instagram video:
“We are glad that we have this opportunity… Rock him! Rock Ford!”
Yan, meanwhile, said:
“This energy will just come back to you.”
Malykhin, whose home gym is Golden Team, has been training at Phuket’s Tiger Muay Thai for some time while waiting and training for his unification match with ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar.
The Russian heavyweight is one of the most dangerous fighters in ONE Championship. Holding a professional record of 11-0, including 3-0 in the promotion, Malykhin has the heaviest hands in the division with all three of his wins in ONE Championship coming by way of knockout.
Malykhin is a natural wrestler but his run in the Circle might suggest otherwise. ‘Sladkiy’ has felled absolute beasts in Alexandre Machado, Amir Aliakbari, and most recently Kirill Grishenko.
His win over Grishenko was a thunderous one-shot KO that awarded him the ONE interim heavyweight world title at ONE: Bad Blood this past February.
Anatoly Malykhin blasts Bhullar on social media
Anatoly Malykhin was always one to speak his thoughts and it was usually Bhullar who was the target of his verbal tirades.
The ONE interim heavyweight world champion has always accused Bhullar of ducking him and that has been a recurring theme of his call-outs toward the Indian star.
In one of his Instagram posts, Malykhin called Bhullar a chicken and accused the ‘Singh’ of being a coward.
“Hey 🐔 [Arjan 'Singh' Bhullar] where are you? A lot of falsehoods were said on your part, you haven't been playing fair for almost two years, be brave. Come out to fight.”
Malykhin and Bhullar’s unification match was supposed to headline ONE 161 but the Indian star had to pull out of the fight due to injury.
