Teen grappling phenoms, the Ruotolo brothers, are the epitome of the word "prodigy." The 20-year-old prodigious twins have been competing in jiu-jitsu since they were three. That's right, the Ruotolo brothers already knew how to strangle at an age where some of us are still wearing diapers.

Their wealth of experience, coupled with their insane aggression and athleticism, makes Kade and Tye Ruotolo a force to be reckoned with in jiu-jitsu. What's crazy is the fact that they are still years and years away from their prime. Considering how amazing the Ruotolo brothers are already, that's a frightening thought for anyone in their weight classes.

In a recent video released by ONE Championship, we see Kade and Tye as teenagers training their balance on a balance board. It's safe to say that only a handful of people in the world can pull off such a difficult training regimen.

Here's the video:

"From a young age, balance has been 🔑 @ruotolobrothersjiujitsu"

Trying to stay upright on top of a balance board while thwarting clinch and takedown entries may seem like an impossible task for a normal human. The Ruotolos, however, aren't close to being normal. They're athletic freaks adept at dominating and submitting anybody on the face of the earth.

One-half of the Ruotolo brothers, Tye Ruotolo, faces Renier de Ridder at ONE Fight Night 10

Hold on to your seats for ONE Fight Night 10. ONE's first-ever US show is shaping up to be its biggest since its 10-year anniversary event, ONE X. Aside from the much-anticipated rubber match between ONE flyweight king Demetrious Johnson and former titleholder Adriano Moraes, we'll be treated to a submission grappling bout for the ages.

Tye Ruotolo, one-half of the dynamic Ruotolo brothers, will face former ONE middleweight and light-heavyweight world champion Reinier 'The Dutch Night' de Ridder.

Some might say that this match-up is significantly imbalanced as de Ridder fights at 205 pounds while Ruotolo usually weighs around 170 pounds come fight day. For those who saw what Ruotolo did at the 2022 ADCC World Championship, however, this bout is far from imbalanced.

The hyper-aggressive Tye beat former ADCC Absolutes world champion Felipe Pena and took that year's Absolutes silver medalist Nicolas Meregali to the limit. Both men outweighed him by at least 60 pounds. Despite going home with the bronze medal that day, what Tye did to the much larger world-class grapplers was unheard of. In fact, it was Tye who called out the ONE middleweight world champion back in December.

As for Reinier de Ridder, the Dutch ground specialist is one of the best BJJ-based fighters in MMA, achieving most of his success on the ground. He famously went to a draw with the Ruotolo Brothers' mentor and ADCC legend Andre Galvao at ONE X last year.

This match will be the perfect way to introduce ONE's submission grappling roster to the American viewing audience. May 5 couldn't approach any sooner.
