While Nico Carrillo is more known for his marauding punch-heavy style, he has a weapon of choice that has felled many a contender he's faced.
'King of the North' packs a mean elbow shot and it was on full display when he felled Thai masters Muangthai PK Saenchai and the legendary Nong-O Hama.
Mitch Chilson, a former fighter and now ONE Championship's trusted color commentator, had Carrillo appear on his Instagram channel to break down that devastating elbow strike.
The variation Carrillo broke down with Chilson was the one he used in his match against Muangthai at ONE Friday Fights 22.

Nico Carrillo initially set up his elbow off of a counter when he caught Muangthai's body kick before landing the chilling shot against the man aptly called 'The Elbow Zombie'.
Watch Carrillo and Chilson's simple breakdown below:
Carrillo, though, didn't earn the knockout win against Muangthai off of that brutal elbow shot. He sent Muangthai crashing to the floor for the third time during the second round with a flurry of strikes to earn the stoppage win.
What he did against Nong-O, though, was the perfect execution of his elbow strike.
Carrillo caught Nong-O with a quick elbow shot to get the second-round knockout during their match at ONE Friday Fights 46.
Nico Carrillo calls for world title shot after knockout win over Saemapetch
Nico Carrillo is ready for his golden opportunity.
The Scottish brawler captured his fourth straight knockout win when he stopped Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 23 this past weekend at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
In his in-ring interview with Chilson, the number one bantamweight Muay Thai contender called for a world title shot from ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Carrillo, who also received the card's lone $50,000 performance bonus, said:
"Thank you so much Mr. Chatri [for the performance bonus], you are truly changing lives out here. And please give me the shot at gold. Just yeah, words escape how happy I am. Thank you so much, and please, give me the title shot next. Don't make me hold my position anymore. Don't make me fight these top guys before even getting the gold."
