Jake Paul will face his longtime idol Anderson Silva in the boxing ring on Oct. 29 at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The surreal feeling of facing the combat sports paragon was evident from a video that Paul shared recently, thanking his devoted fans for their unequivocal support.
In a video posted on YouTube, Paul took some time before the chaos and badlam of the main event duties to reflect on his journey and express gratitude to his supporters:
"Good morning Jake Paulers! Wow, we have come a long way. It's still everyday bro....but today is the biggest day of my life. Today is the biggest moment of my life. And I'm putting it all on the line against one of the greatest combat strikers right here in this ring tonight."

Paul added:
"You guys have been riding with me this whole entire time, supporting me. I just want to say, thank you. I fight for you guys, I fight for the people who are told they cannot accomplish something. That's why I fight. I'm going to show you all that's possible. I love you guys."
Regardless of the polarizing view that fight fans hold about Jake Paul, it's fair to say that 'The Problem Child' has come a long way from being a YouTuber, a Disney teen star, to a prize fighter.

Jake Paul pressures Conor McGregor to join him and Anderson Silva in forming fighters association
Jake Paul, who's known for his neoteric and off-centre bets against his opponents, amped the stakes by calling for a United Fighters Association during the final Paul vs. Silva press conference.
The American proposed a kickboxing rematch against Silva if the Brazilian ended up winning the fight. On the flipside, should Paul win the fight, Silva will join hands to form a fighters association that works towards better pay and healthcare for fighters.
Jake Paul has had a truculent relationship with the UFC's biggest superstar Conor McGregor. However, during an interview with The MacLife, Paul demanded that 'The Notorious' should stop being selish and join forces with Silva and him:
“Conor, I have a message for you. Join me and Anderson in helping these fighters. We need all the help we can get. You’ve been pretty selfish. At this point in your whole entire career, what have you done for a lot of fighters? This would be a powerful statement for you to join. So stop it, stop running, stop hiding, stop being selfish. We need all the help we can get in making this union. Conor McGregor that’s the message, join me and Anderson Silva. It needs to be done.”
