Reining ONE women's atomweight kickboxing world champion Janet Todd is primed and ready for her world title unification bout with Allycia Hellen Rodrigues at ONE Fight Night 8. Rodrigues is the current ONE women's atomweight Muay Thai world champion, while Todd is the interim world champion.
In her bid to hold two world titles in two different sports, Janet Todd is leaving no stone unturned. In her training camp was her close friend and training partner, former ONE strawweight Muay Thai world title challenger Jackie Buntan.
In a video released by ONE Championship on Instagram, we saw the two Muay Thai queens trading kicks in the gym.

Janet Todd vies to win second belt at ONE Fight Night 8 against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues
As officially announced, Janet Todd will face Allycia Hellen Rodrigues in a much-anticipated unification bout for the women's atomweight Muay Thai world title at ONE Fight Night 8: Bhullar vs. Malykhin on March 24.
Rodrigues hasn’t laced up her gloves in over two years since giving birth to her beautiful son back in September 2021. She was last seen in action defeating Stamp Fairtex for the belt back in August 2020. Meanwhile, ONE put together an interim Muay Thai world title bout between Todd and promotional newcomer Lara Fernandez, which 'JT' soundly won.
In just a few weeks' time, the two world champions will finally collide inside the circle. ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced the massive Muay Thai clash at the ONE Fight Night 6 press conference. Notably, the pair of striking specialists were scheduled to fight last December, but Todd had to pull out due to contracting COVID-19.
