Japanese kickboxing megastar Takeru Segawa lived up to his status as one of the best kickboxers on the planet with how he won his first bout in ONE Championship at ONE Friday Fights 81 this past September.
After getting knocked down with a crisp left hook late in the first round against Burmese knockout artist Thant Zin, 'The Natural Born Crusher' showcased his veteran fight IQ by targetting his body in the second round.
Takeru leveled the knockdown count by dropping the 20-year-old with his trademark front kick to the body that landed squarely on Thant Zin's liver.

Despite Thant Zin's willingness to keep fighting, Takeru eventually captured the second-round knockout by landing a mean left hook to the Taw Win Ayeyar Club fighter's temple.
After Takeru earned his first win in ONE, reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon met the Team Vasileus star inside the ring, where they teased the fans with an upcoming superfight by trading barbs on the microphone.
Lito Adiwang breaks down potential Takeru, Rodtang super fight
Rodtang and Takeru's short but heated interaction at ONE Friday Fights 81 was enough to get fans buzzing about their upcoming clash, which includes ONE strawweight MMA star Lito Adiwang.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the Filipino spitfire gave his two cents on what could happen when Takeru faces 'The Iron Man' in the circle.
'Thunder Kid' stated:
"I think if it's Muay Thai, Rodtang's going to have an advantage. What I worry about is if they fight in kickboxing, they're going to be using the bigger 8oz gloves, and Takeru's boxing is on a different level."
